Another autumn Sunday, another muddy cross country!

This Sunday, Lliswerry Runners travelled down to our capital city for the second installment in the Gwent League, at Llandaff Fields. The weather was dry, the ground was well soaked, and spirits were high.
Poor toilet facilities aside, the course was well marked, and a fairly flat affair, giving new runners a good chance to get well acquainted with the high standard of cross country that the Gwent league provides. Both the ladies and mens race went well, and the excellent running by all members ensured that both the ladies and the mens team found themselves in second place in their respective divisions by the end of the day. Not bad, considering we were promoted last year!
